Diagnostic examination

Although your dentist may have already performed a cursory assessment, the endodontist always performs a thorough examination of the teeth in the area before proceeding with your root canal treatment. The examination usually includes X-rays, 3D imaging and certain sensitivity tests. The aim of the diagnostic examination is to pinpoint the problem with certainty, propose the appropriate treatment and then determine the chances of success of your treatment, while explaining possible complications.
